"Beetlejuice Beetlejuice,"a sequel to the cult classic "Beetlejuice" starring Michael Keaton and a young Winona Ryder, is hitting theaters next week. Keaton and Ryder are returning stars, and Jenna Ortega will round out the cast.

Moviegoers around the country are excited and looking to rein in the new film with ephemera that shows how much they love the "Beetlejuice" franchise. Theaters in and near Eugene are preparing for opening day by stocking up on popcorn buckets and beverage cups to welcome "Beetlejuice" fans old and new.

Cinemark Eugene: The Shrunken Head Cup

The Cinemark located at the Gateway Mall will be offering a shrunken-head beverage cup, which references the infamously goofy scene in the original movie. The cups have been offered at prerelease screenings and are likely to run out quickly, so act quickly if you're looking to get one.

AMC Classic Corvallis: The Handbook of the Recently Deceased

AMCs around the country will be offering special Beetlejuice merchandise, including a Handbook for the Recently Deceased and three collectible Beetlejuice beverage cups. The collectibles will be available at AMC Classic Corvallis on Thursday, Sept. 5, for the first showing of "Beetlejuice Beetlejuice."

Other Eugene theaters showing 'Beetlejuice Beetlejuice'

Although these theaters do not offer festive merchandise with the opening of "Beetlejuice Beetlejuice," you can still catch the movie there on opening day. Broadway Metro in downtown Eugene and Regal at Valley River Center both list showtimes for the film's opening night on Thursday, Sept. 5.
