The Eugene-area high school sports scene is back in action with plenty of highlight performances.

This week's Register-Guard Athlete of the Week nominees are:

• Rocco Graziano, Sheldon football
• Henry Light, Churchill soccer
• Noah Blair, Thurston football
• Aaron Bidwell, Marist Catholic football
• Brody Robinson, Willamette football

Rocco Graziano, Sheldon football

The senior caught two touchdown passes, kicked two long field goals and was 5-for-5 on PATs in a 43-13 victory over Tigard on Friday.

Henry Light, Churchill soccer

The freshman scored a goal in a 4-3 win over Hillsboro on Thursday.

Noah Blair, Thurston football

The senior threw four touchdown passes, one interception and rushed for one touchdown in a 45-29 victory over Caldera on Aug. 30. Blair passed for three touchdowns in a 53-0 win over South Eugene on Friday.

Aaron Bidwell, Marist Catholic football

The senior caught five touchdown passes in a 33-30 win over Churchill.

Brody Robinson, Willamette football

The senior caught a touchdown pass in a 28-0 victory over North Eugene on Friday.
