ESPN's "College GameDay" is returning to Eugene, Oregon for one of the biggest regular season conference matchups this college football season: No. 2 Ohio State at No. 3 Oregon.

Host Rece Davis, along with former Alabama football coach Nick Saban, Pat McAfee, Lee Corso and Kirk Herbstreit, will be live from Memorial Quad to preview the meeting of top-three Big Ten teams , as two national championship caliber programs square off .

The show will start at 6 a.m. PT time on Saturday — the second consecutive week the three-hour pregame show will start before the sun rises. The show will take place on Oregon's campus for the 12th time in the show's history, with the Ducks having an 18-12 all-time when featured on "College GameDay."

One of the biggest questions for Saturday's edition of "College GameDay" surrounds one of the show's most sacred traditions: the celebrity guest picker. The last time "GameDay" traveled to Eugene, it had former Oregon women's basketball legend Sabrina Ionescu as the celebrity guest picker.

So who will be this week's guest picker on Saturday? Here's a look at some possible guests:

Week 7 'College GameDay' possible guest pickers

In past weeks, "GameDay" has announced the celebrity guest picker on the Thursday preceding the show. In the meantime, here's a list of some possible options for this week's "College GameDay" guest picker:

    • Sabrina Ionescu: She seems like the no-doubt pick, as the former Oregon women's basketball star was the guest picker last time "GameDay" was at Oregon in 2022. However, Ionescu and the New York Liberty are still competing in the WNBA playoffs, making her appearance unlikely.
    • Justin Herbert: Like Ionescu, the former Oregon football quarterback plays Sunday in Week 6 of the NFL season. In fact, he is going up against former Ducks quarterback Bo Nix and the Denver Broncos at Empower Field at Mile High in Denver.
    • Bo Nix: (See above).
    • Marcus Mariota: With Chip Kelly returning to Oregon for the first time as Ohio State's offensive coordinator, could his former quarterback as well? The answer is (likely) no, as the Washington Commanders' backup quarterback has a game Sunday in Baltimore against the Ravens.
    • Wyndham Clark: The former Oregon golfer is coming off helping Team USA win its 10th consecutive Presidents Cup Trophy .
    • LeGarrette Blount: The three-time Super Bowl running back spent two seasons with Oregon from 2008-09. In those two years, Blount ran for a combined 1,084 rushing yards and 19 touchdowns.
    • Joey Harrington: The former Oregon quarterback is still beloved in Eugene, 23 years after his last game for the Ducks.
    • Cole Hocker: If ESPN and "GameDay" want to capitalize off the recent 2024 Paris Olympics, Hocker would be the pick. The former Oregon track and field alum pulled off one of the best finishes at the Paris Olympics when he came from behind to win the gold in the 1500-meter race for Team USA.
    • Ty Burrell: Though the "Modern Family" actor is a Southern Oregon University grad, he is from the Beaver State. Last year, he appeared on "College GameDay" as a guest when Oregon faced Utah in Salt Lake City. He recently voiced over an Oregon Big Ten commercial for when the Ducks joined the conference.

    • Phil Knight: One doesn't need to explain the connection between Knight and Oregon. The Nike co-founder and Oregon alum would be a safe pick for "GameDay."
    • Ben Affleck: If you consider Phil Knight, might as consider the actor who portrayed him in "Air" — the 2023 film that of how Nike landed Michael Jordan and kickstarted its basketball division, including the Air Jordan Brand — alongside Matt Damon.
    • Sam Elliott: The legendary American actor is an Oregon alum.
    • Kaitlin Olson: The "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" actress got her Bachelor's degree in theatre arts from Oregon's College of Arts and Sciences in 1997. She is also starring in ABC's new TV show "High Potential." Disney is the parent company of ESPN and ABC.
