Marlington hires Nick Stroemple as next varsity girls basketball coach

Marlington Local Schools recently announced the hiring of Nick Stroemple as the varsity head girls basketball coach. Stroemple was an assistant coach for the past seven years for the Hoover girls basketball team. He also served as the head cross country coach for the last six seasons for the Vikings.

"The committee was very impressed with the details and plan that coach Stroemple came to us with," Marlington athletic director Steve Miller wrote in a press release. "He displayed to us great passion and teaching ability."

Stroemple will take over for Mike Stadulis , who stepped down after eight years as head coach this offseason. Marlington won three Eastern Buckeye Conference championships and a district title under Stadulis.
