Woman dies following two-vehicle crash in Osnaburg Township

OSNABURG TWP. − The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating the death of a woman in a two-vehicle crash Saturday evening.

The Stark County Coroner's Office had not yet released the name of the woman as of Tuesday afternoon, pending official identification.

The crash occurred about 6:30 p.m. on Lincoln Street E, west of Broadway Avenue NE near East Canton, the coroner's office said.

An official cause of death will be determined following a medical exam and autopsy.

The crash involved a pickup and SUV. The woman was taken to Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital in Canton, where she was pronounced dead Saturday night, the coroner's office said.

Further details of the crash were not available Tuesday from the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
