CANTON - Canton City Council has called a special meeting to be held Friday.

The new meeting comes in lieu of a chaotic end to Monday's meeting after audience members began shouting at council members and police officers present.

Monday's meeting had more than 50 people attending and involved conversations about the cases of Zachary Fornash and Frank Tyson, who died at the hands of police officers.

Stark County Prosecutor Kyle Stone attended the meeting , informing the body on the process of how indictments may be carried out by the grand jury in these cases.

The meeting went awry during the third of eleven public speakers, and council members voted to adjourn shortly after the disturbance.

The announcement for the new meeting comes after the council had decided to postpone its three remaining town hall workshops Tuesday, citing safety concerns.

The new meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m. in the Council Chambers.

canton city government is a POS. If you catch a case you either gee direct indicted or a no bill. high profile cases they wait until to public forgets when it's concerning one of these on. then present there side for a no bill. I feel all public official should face the same indictment process as anyone
