H.S. cross country: Bridenthal, Fuller, Jackson, Ison named Stark Runners of the Week

Boys

Division I

Ryan Bridenthal

GlenOak, sr.

Bridenthal helped lead the Golden Eagles to a runner-up finish out of 21 teams at last Saturday's Cloverleaf Invitational. He came in eighth in 16:36. Bridenthal was a 2022 Division I state qualifier and a 2023 regional qualifier.

Division II-III

Brice Fuller

Fairless, fr.

Fuller finished second in the large division race at last week's Sandy Valley Invitational in 15:58. He also came in third in the Division II-III race at the Wooster Invitational and fourth at the Pickerington Classic this season. Fuller has a personal-best time of 15:45.

Girls

Division I

Hailey Jackson

Louisville, sr.

In only her second season of cross country, Jackson has played an integral role for Louisville. She has had top-15 finishers at Claymont, Jackson and Malone, where she came in third last Saturday. She looks to improve upon her season and personal-best time of 20:41 as well as her place at regionals last year.

Division II-III

Katie Ison

Minerva, sr.

Ison helped the Lions beat No. 2 state-ranked CVCA for the team title at the Sandy Valley Invitational. She finished fourth overall. Ison helped lead Minerva win its second Division II state title in three years in 2023. She was All-Ohio last season.
