OBITUARY: Linda Lou Hall

Linda Lou Hall, 75, of Wilmington, North Carolina, passed away July 30, 2024, at Novant Health Hospital.

Linda was born Feb. 22, 1949, and was a daughter of the late Hazel K. Wood.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Robert Hall Sr., who passed away in 2014.

Linda was a woman that was devoted to her faith and family. She loved attending church and taking care of her family. Linda worked for many years at Burlington Industries in the Quality Control Department before retiring. In her spare time, Linda loved to cook, craft, and tend to her garden.

Linda is survived by her sons, Jimmy “Robby” Hall Jr. (Melissa) of Rockingham, and Matthew James Hall (Kimberly) of Wilmington; grandchildren, Logan Hall, Elena Hall, Frankie “Izzy” Izabella Hall; and her sister, Brenda Stevenson of Jacksonville, Florida.

The family will receive friends for visitation Saturday, Aug. 10, from 2-4 p.m. at Watson-King Funeral Home in Rockingham. A memorial service will be held at Watson-King Funeral Home Chapel, Sunday, Aug. 11 at 3 p.m. with Pastor Chris Thornton officiating. Burial will follow at Richmond Co. Memorial Park in a private ceremony.
