Raider Roll Call: Week 5’s top players recognized

ROCKINGHAM — Five names were read out at the end of Monday’s practice by head coach Brad Denson.

They signified the next edition of the Richmond Senior High School football program’s “players of the week.”

As part of their recognition, which is sponsored by Top Guns Strength and Performance gym, the five Raiders were called up in front of the team and each received a t-shirt.

The players of the week are:

Offense: Keyonta Davis (senior wide receiver)

Defense: Terande Spencer (junior linebacker)

Special Teams: Jayden Hamilton (junior returner)

Practice: Jabari Douglas (junior wide receiver)

Weight Room: Jarah Cook (senior defensive back)

Denson and the Richmond football staff select each week’s players based on performance.

The Raiders (3-2, 1-0 SAC) are set to play Thursday at Pinecrest High School (4-0) at 7 p.m.
