BRISTOL — Each week, we invite readers to share their best shots from sporting events featuring individuals and/or teams from Hawkins County. Any sport, any age group, any level, no matter the outcome.

This week’s photos feature a trio of young Warriors who took on the 800-meter elementary course at the Run for the Hills cross country meet at South Holston Dam in Bristol. The photos were shared by Kelley Russell.

Rogersville City School and Hawkins Elementary had three participants in the elementary division. All three competitors finished in the Top 20.

RCS’ Tayen Looney finished 11th out of 82 boys with a time of 3:22.63.

RCS’ Juliet Sacharnoski finished ninth out of 68 girls with a time of 3:35.21.

Hawkins’ Jemma Allen finished 20th with a time of 3:50.94.

Russell offered a shout out to Forest Looney for help with the Little Warriors.

Share your shots of the week featuring Hawkins County athletes — young or old in any sport — by emailing Carmen Musick, the Review’s sports editor, at carmen.musick@therogersvillereview.com.
