A man and a woman from Marysville were ejected from a motorcycle and died Monday night in Yuba County after driving into a car that had turned onto the road in front of them.

The 62-year-old man and a 63-year-old woman were riding a Harley Davidson motorcycle about 11:28 p.m. driving north near the 8600 block of Highway 70 near Ellis Road when a 21-year-old Marysville man driving a Toyota Corolla turned from a driveway onto the highway directly into the motorcycle’s path, according to the California Highway Patrol’s Yuba-Sutter office.

The motorcycle crashed into the left rear side of the car, ejecting both riders, the CHP said.

Medical personnel arrived at the scene two miles north of Marysville and pronounced the man and woman dead, the CHP said.

Yuba County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Katy Goodson identified the deceased as Anthony Montana and Traci Conley.

Officers investigating the crash said drugs and alcohol were not factors in the crash but it was unclear the speed at which Montana was going when it collided with the Corolla.

The 21-year-old driver and his passenger, a 19-year-old woman, both of Marysville, were not injured in the crash, said Officer Brian Danielson, a CHP spokesman.
