The Roseville Police Department arrested two teens on suspicion of attempting to rob Nordstrom in Roseville’s Westfield Galleria mall.

The suspects hid merchandise on their person before loss prevention officers stopped them, according to a Roseville police news release.

Loss prevention officers tried to detain a 16-year-old boy and an 18-year-old man but they both fled on foot.

Investigators executed search warrants at the suspects’ homes and recovered electronics and clothing they wore during the robbery, the release said.

It’s unclear what charges, if any, the 16-year-old will face.

The 18-year-old faces a felony robbery charge and was being held without bail in South Placer Jail, according to jail records.
