    Tell us: Will you tip less if servers earn more and menu prices rise?

    thus us the reason tips are said to be 15%, which includes the difference in lower server wages, but if she's making regular pay, the restaurant is charging me the difference, then absolutely the tip will be less, maybe 5% for good serviced, am not paying for SERVICE twice for the same meal, once from the restaurant, and again from a 20% tip!! and that's exactly what this would amount to, paying twice for service service provided, not sure how you could see it another way!!

    If servers start making higher wages the same as other jobs and menu prices go up, I will not tip at all.
