Saginaw Township teen charged as adult in man's killing fired 20 rounds from assault rifle
SAGINAW, MI — A Saginaw Township teen has been charged as an adult with killing a man with an assault rifle and wounding two others. It’s the second time this year the teen has faced criminal charges, having previously fired a gun on Saginaw High School grounds and led police on a high-speed chase.

BIG BAY, MI — Production has resumed at a nickel mine in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan following a partial tunnel collapse. Ore trucks resumed hauling on July 8 after a “fall of ground” in the main ramp to the lower ore body at Eagle Mine, a nickel and copper mine under the Yellow Dog Plains near Marquette that is owned by Lundin Mining Co. of Toronto, Ontario.
