War of 1812 battle site in Michigan gets $169k archeology grant
MONROE, MI — The University of Michigan-Dearborn has received a grant to aid an archeology project at the River Raisin National Battlefield Park in Monroe. The National Park Service awarded the university project $169,121 on Wednesday, July 10, from a grant program that helps preserve battlefields and armed conflict sites.
