Updated: Cosby’s sentence has been corrected to reflect his release date of November 2025.

One of the suspects who pleaded guilty to charges related to the October 2017 shooting death at a Selma nightclub will have a parole hearing this week.

Kenneth O’Neal Ingram, 36, will have a parole hearing on Thursday on the charges of manslaughter and two counts of assault first degree that he pleaded guilty to in August 2022.

He and Juantonio Cosby, 30, were both charged with murder and two counts of first degree assault stemming from an incident at an east Selma nightclub, in which Shykereya Leggett, 20, who had a 10-month-old child at the time, was shot and killed, and Selma resident Eddie Williams, then 31, was shot in the leg.

After Ingram entered his guilty plea, Cosby was found guilty last year on charges of murder and assault first degree. Cosby received a 20-year sentence with 10 years suspended, meaning his release date is scheduled for November 2025 and will serve a five-year probation period following his release.

Ingram’s projected release date is Oct. 15, 2037, prior to the parole hearing.
