ScarLip Speaks Out Amid Viral Video Of Her Mystery Man Saying She’s “Beautiful Sometimes” (WATCH)

Whew! ScarLip has fans going ham online on her behalf! The rapper was recently live-streaming from her bed, chatting with fans and a man who was near her but off-camera.

At one point, she inquired about her physical looks, and the man, who seemed to be her boyfriend, paid her a backhanded compliment. The interaction set her fanbase OFF, and now she’s addressing the commotion it caused.

Here’s What Happened Between ScarLip & Her Mystery Man

Live Bitez uploaded a snippet of the live session to YouTube on Wednesday (August 7 ). The 55-second video starts with the rapper facing her alleged boyfriend and asking, “You think I’m pretty, baby?” He responds, “You’re beautiful…” But when she turns her face back to the camera with a smile, he quickly adds, ” Sometimes .”

In response, ScarLip snapped her neck backward and looked at him before asking, “What does that mean?” Slightly raising his voice, the man said, “It means sometimes,” and though he continued to explain, the rapper interjected with another question.

“Am I pretty right now?” ScarLip asked. The man responded, “Um, no, not right now. Definitely not right now, definitely not right now, looking a lil aight.”

Dressed in a light-colored robe, ScarLip began brushing her braids back with her hand and said she no longer felt like being on live. She again asked him if he didn’t think she looked pretty at the moment, and he stood on his original comment. The rapper remained silent for a few seconds before saying, “Hmm, well, I don’t know what to think about that.” Then, the clip ends.

Rapper Responds To Fans Dragging Her Alleged Man

As the clip kept making its rounds, ScarLip took to X (formerly Twitter) with her thoughts on the backhanded compliment. She responded to blogger Milagro posting the video with the caption, “Scar Lip, please.”

“What? Things are tough rn but we are growing strong,” the rapper said, closing her comment by promoting her song ‘She Hot.’

She also responded to another post from an account suggesting she “stop setting [herself] up” and that she “needs therapy.” ScarLip clapped back, “Jesus heals the wounded & the blinded.”

On her Instagram page, the rapper used her alleged boo’s comment to continue promoting ‘She Hot.’ Her caption to a video of her rapping read, “Your pretty sometimes nah baby all year AROUND SHE HOTTT.”

Aside from going viral over that sticky moment, ScarLip is also celebrating a major accomplishment this week. She shared on Instagram that she “completed school” but did not specify at which level. Her post featured a picture of her dressed in a navy blue cap and gown.
