Latoya Davis , a 32-year-old pregnant woman, was reportedly shot and killed by a woman named Evelena Williams outside of a Wawa store in Pennsylvania.

More Details On The Charges Against The Shooting Suspect Evelena Williams

According to Fox 29 News Philadelphia , 30-year-old Williams has been charged with “first-and third-degree murder,” criminal homicide, and recklessly endangering another person.

Additionally, Williams has even reportedly been charged with “first-and third-degree murder” of an unborn child. Per The Independent , the 30-year-old is expected to appear in court on Wednesday, October 9.

Here’s What Allegedly Happened To Latoya Davis Outside Of The Wawa In Pennsylvania

Per the outlet, the fatal shooting occurred on the evening of Saturday, October 5, around 7:20 p.m.

Authorities reportedly arrived at the scene when they found Davis with a gunshot wound. The wound was reportedly located in the pregnant woman’s torso.

Additionally, Evelena Williams reportedly waited at the scene. She reportedly told officers she shot Davis. Authorities reportedly concluded that the incident occurred after the pair engaged in an argument. Per USA Today , the incident was captured on video. The footage reportedly shows Davis running away before Williams fired the fatal shot.

Furthermore, Williams noted she had a “Ruger .380 semiautomatic firearm,” which she was licensed to carry.

According to USA Today , it is unclear what sparked the argument between the women. Meanwhile, CBS News adds that the incident is still under investigation.

A Man In Ohio Was Recently Convicted For The Murder Of A Pregnant Woman & Others

As The Shade Room previously reported, a man in Ohio was recently convicted and sentenced for the murder of a pregnant woman and three others. Terrell Silver was reportedly given five life sentences and a consecutive 30-year sentence on September 30.

Before this, Silver was accused of entering a home sometime in September 2019 and fatally shooting the victims as they lay sleeping.
