Here’s What Happened When Mariah Pulled Up

On Oct. 7, The Shade Room shared an excerpt of Mariah chatting with her fans on Instagram Live. She appeared to still be driving while explaining how she drove “all the way to this f**king jail” and couldn’t see her boo.

“…and stopped at the Party City in between so I could tape up my lil’ happy anniversary sign in the back cause it’s not face-to-face. It’s through a screen by the way. I done drove all the way to this motherf**king jail with my lil’ happy anniversary sh*t and my lil scotch tape for me to get inside of the jail and them to say the system is down,” Mariah said.

She added that she was “looking cute” with her ponytail in and beat makeup. “I done did all this sh*t, and now I can’t even see my man on my anniversary, and I am sad, devasted. It’s so crazy,” she said.

As mentioned, Thugger has been on trial for violating Georgia’s RICO (Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations) law and committing other violent crimes.

The trial jury’s selection was the longest in the state’s history at 10 months. His trial kicked off in Nov. 2023, and he has since switched judges at least once from Judge Ural Glanville to Judge Paige Reese Whitaker. Last week, Judge Whitaker blasted the prosecution for “poor lawyering” and continued delays. Court proceedings are expected to resume today, with the jury returning later in the week, per Fox 5 Atlanta .

How Mariah The Scientist Keeps Love Alive With Thugger Behind Bars

Anniversary fumble aside, Mariah also recently opened up about how she keeps her relationship alive.

Last month, Mariah and Latto appeared on Angel Reese’s podcast, ‘Unapologetically Angel.’ Both the singer and rapper opened up about their relationships. We know Mariah is riding for Thug. But Latto’s man remains an unconfirmed mystery, despite fans repeatedly speculating that she’s dating 21 Savage .

During their chat, Mariah admitted that her relationship with Thug feels long-distance. However, she said she attends his court proceedings, sometimes falling asleep. Ultimately, she said she goes to “[breathe] his air.”

As previously reported, the ATL rapper has been behind bars since May 9, 2022. On the podcast, Mariah shared that he’s been jailed for longer than they were in a relationship before he went in.
