Barbara Dellger has been art quilting for more than 50 years, transforming fabric and thread into nature and wildlife scenes. So detailed, they resemble paintings. She’s found more creativity and flexibility in art quilting than bed quilting.

A myriad of images are captured in the art quilts — sea animals swimming underwater, birds flying in fields and among flowers and a deer standing in front of a vivid sky.

Learn more about Dellger’s work and her business, BSD Art Quilts, at the story here .
