Construction concludes on section of State 42 in Sheboygan County

HOWARDS GROVE – Construction on a section of State 42 in the village of Howards Grove has finished.

The project, which began about a month ago , resurfaced the center lanes of less than a mile of road between the Pigeon River and near the village’s north limits by Roosevelt Avenue.

Asphalt was resurfaced and curb ramps were updated to comply with ADA standards.

Construction finished on time and within $550,000 of state funding budgeted for the project, according to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation.
