LOCUSTDALE – A woman is in Columbia County Prison after state troopers said she fired several shots, striking homes in this Conyngham Township village.

Ashley Gregis, 41, is facing felony criminal trespass, discharge of a firearm into an occupied structure, misdemeanor reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct, among other charges.

Troopers from the Bloomsburg barracks said Monday they were called to 128 Middle Avenue in Locustdale around 9:30pm July 22 for an active shooter call.

Gregis, police said, was believed to be in possession of a handgun, actively firing shots.

When troopers arrived, they found Gregis in a neighboring home and she was taken into custody without incident.

Troopers said she admitted to firing multiple shots.

Several rounds went through windows and walls, striking neighboring homes.

Inside the home, a search warrant found two AR-style rifles, three handguns, and spent casings.

Gregs was arraigned and committed to Columbia County Prison, unable to post $50,000 bail.
