    Community night out brings community, resources together

    FRACKVILLE – First responders and community organizations from Frackville and beyond connected with the community at Memorial Field in Frackville Monday evening.

    It was part of the borough’s Community Night Out.

    The Frackville Police Department, State Police at Frackville, fire companies from Frackville, Altamont, and Englewood, as well as Frackville Ambulance and Shenandoah Ambulance were set up.

    The Good Will Fire Co. of Frackville set up a demonstration for children to put out a “fire” of their own.

    Other community organizations, like the Elks and Rotary, were also set up.

    It was sponsored by the Frackville Recreation Board and the Frackville Police Department.
