TOMHICKEN – A Nuremberg man was flown to a trauma center after a crash on the Tomhicken Road last week, State Police said Tuesday.

The crash happened around 7:30pm Thursday in the 600 block of Tomhicken Road.

State Police at Hazleton said William Demansky, 24, of Nuremberg, was driving a 2000 Mercury Mountaineer and struck a utility pole.

He suffered serious injuries, troopers said, and was flown to Geisinger Medical Center near Danville.
