Watro, Argall hear valley concerns at ice cream social

RINGTOWN – Valley residents had the opportunity to ask questions of their state legislators over ice cream Tuesday afternoon.

Senator David G. Argall (R-29) and Rep. Dane Watro (R-116) held the event at the Ringtown Valley Senior Citizen’s Center on Main Street.

Argall called the event an experiment, as such events are typically held in the morning over coffee.

Nearly three dozen people came out for the event from across the Ringtown Valley and Shenandoah area.

Topics discussed ranged from election security to school and library funding and more.
