Shenandoah Valley grad named to medical honor society

SHENANDOAH – A Shenandoah Valley graduate has been inducted into a prestigious medical honor society.

Alaina Demalis, a 2015 SV grad, recently graduated from the Penn State Hershey Medical School, where she is completing her three-year residency in family practice.

She was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society, whose mission is to recognize individuals who are exemplars of humanistic patient care and who serve as role models, mentors, and leaders in medicine.

Demalis is the daughter of Anthony and Judy Demalis.
