He's expected to miss a couple of weeks. Samuel caught eight of 10 targets for 110 yards on Sunday, giving him 176 scrimmage yards through two games. During that stretch, Brock Purdy mustered one passing touchdown in each game with five of his season's 11 interceptions. Those were three of the six games in which he posted a quarterback rating below 100.0. Things almost got even worse for San Francisco. George Kittle and Nick Bosa each briefly left Sunday's game before returning. Purdy may need to lean more on his veteran tight end, who had 76 yards and a touchdown at Minnesota. Sunday's NFC West showdown against the Los Angeles Rams will miss some considerable star power.
