In an effort to help out his Wolverines, Portnoy has made an NIL pitch to the program. He's willing to spend millions of dollars in every year just to get Michigan a quarterback. "Michigan, I will be your quarterback guy. You just say, 'Dave, you go [get a quarterback]. I'll talk to whoever you want. I will sign them $1 million, $2 million - whatever it is," <a href="https://x.com/stoolpresidente/status/1839284480059523421" rel="nofollow"> Portnoy said </a> . "I can get a quarterback. We don't have a quarterback." When asked what his spending limit would be, Portnoy said he wouldn't go higher than $3 million per season on a quarterback.
