The WNBA starts its postseason with a&nbsp;best-of-three series for the opening round. The higher seed gets to play the first two games of the series at home. If there's a Game 3 to decide the series, it'll be played at the lower seed's stadium. The top four seeds for this year's postseason all advanced to the semifinals without having to play a single game on the road. WNBA fans don't just find that odd, they believe it's flat-out dumb. "The WNBA playoff format is so weird," <a href="https://x.com/sportsrapport/status/1838311025319281128" rel="nofollow"> Ryan Glasspiegel of the New York Post said </a> . "If the worse seed gets a split on the road, they get a close-out game at home in the best-of-three series. So many things about the league need a total reboot now that so many more eyeballs are on it." "Yea WNBA trippin because a best of 3 series is ridiculous. You don’t even allow the lower seed to host a home playoff game unless they win on the road," one fan said. "That’s bananas. First round should be best of 5 and semis and finals should be best of 7." "The WNBA playoff format is horrible," another fan wrote. "Best of 3 in the first round with the higher seed getting the first two games at home is stupid. 1-1-1 makes more sense." "Absolutely hate this playoff format for WNBA," a third fan tweeted.
