Running back Quinshon Judkins played in last week's game against Oregon with the injury, but reports suggest that he's taking care of the ailment during the bye week. <a href="https://x.com/PeteNakos_/status/1847283338886713754" rel="nofollow"> According to On3's Pete Nakos </a> , Judkins underwent a procedure on his hand this week. The star back isn't expected to miss any time, and he should be ready to go for next week's Big Ten showdown with Nebraska. Judkins had his hand wrapped up in the loss to Oregon last week, and he ran for a season-low 23 yards while also fumbling in the first quarter. The fumble was only the fourth of his college career, dating back to his first two seasons at Ole Miss. Judkins has been among the best backs in the country this season. He's averaging 6.9 yards per carry and has six touchdowns so far this year. In 2022, he was the SEC's freshman of the year after rushing for 1,567 yards and 16 touchdowns. He followed that up with 1,158 yards and 15 touchdowns as a sophomore, earning All-SEC honors in both of his seasons in the conference. “He runs really hard, violent,” Buckeyes coach Ryan Day said about Judkins. "He wants the ball, and so does TreVeyon.
