The former No. 4 overall pick has been one of the most consistent wide receivers in the league since he was drafted in 2015, and the Bills didn't pass up on the opportunity to acquire him near the deadline. Bills general manager Brandon Beane said that the team was paying attention to the market on Davante Adams, but that ultimately, they decided to pursue Cooper even as the Adams deal with the Jets was in the works. “By the time their move was announced we had honed in on Amari," said the general manager.
