Nagy's son is a quarterback for Blue Valley West and Merritt's son is a defensive back for Blue Valley, both in the state of Kansas. Chris Jones and other top players from the two-time defending champions were on hand to watch the game, propping up lawn chairs in the grass as any other attendee would do. <blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><a href="https://twitter.com/MattFosterTV/status/1847460322849763454" rel="nofollow"></a></blockquote><script async charset="utf-8" src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js"></script> Nagy's son Tate is a three-star prospect, and he's committed to Kansas to play college football. Merritt's son is a four-star prospect, and committed to Alabama earlier this year after also considering Nebraska. Nagy's team ended up getting the last laugh in a close game, scoring a touchdown with seconds left on the clock to tie it and then hitting the extra point for a 35-34 win. Tate Nagy threw the game-tying touchdown pass, hitting&nbsp;Tyler Peterson in the end zone for the score. The Chiefs will now turn their focus on Sunday's Super Bowl rematch with the 49ers.
