But while the Saints had things to celebrate, it was a rough night. "I've never seen the Superdome that empty. That was the most embarrassing thing I've seen in a long time," one fan added. "The Superdome being empty in the fourth quarter of a primetime game says it all," one fan added. New Orleans Saints star Alvin Kamara, the team's best player, spoke about the fans leaving early on Thursday night. "It's a couple unacceptable things going on. One, our play is unacceptable. And two, the dome being empty, or emptying out, I think I saw some fans leaving second quarter, that's unacceptable." He added: "I've been here eight years, and I've never seen the dome clear out like that." Still, Kamara can understand why the Saints fans did it. They have nothing to cheer for. "If I was a fan, I would leave too. Just being honest. It's just, people fed up."
