The Saints were welcoming back former head coach Sean Payton, who led the franchise to a Super Bowl in 2010. New Orleans was also honoring legendary quarterback Drew Brees at halftime. While there were a couple of special moments at halftime, the on-field play from the Saints left a lot to be desired. </p><p> New Orleans fell to Denver, 33-10. Drew Brees Saints Hall of Fame ceremony at half probably the highlight for most fans, other than the ones in orange behind the visitor sideline," one fan wrote. </p><p> "I've never seen the Superdome that empty. That was the most embarrassing thing I've seen in a long time," one fan added. </p><p> "Poor Drew Brees played his final game in an empty Superdome, got honored at halftime the next year in a 31-6 Thanksgiving loss, and was inducted to the Saints Hall of Fame during this travesty.
