As the varsity soccer goalie at Scappoose High School, Dominic helped set up the field and get the team ready for games. Dominic is a dedicated soccer player as he has been playing the sport since he was in kindergarten.

As Captain of the swim team, Dominic helped demonstrate drills and lead preset workouts. Dominic has been a part of the swim team since sophomore year and was elected team Captain this year.

Dominic is a part of the National Honor Society at Scappoose High School, his Individual Service Project is helping Mrs. Kinsman at the elementary school set up the STEM lab for the younger kids to enjoy. He helps set up and organize the materials for the different technologies in the lab, so that the younger students can create their projects and maximize their time in the lab.

Dominic is a founder of the Trap Club, which he and a couple friends set up in his sophomore year. They started it because they wanted to practice for the upcoming duck season, and he helps by getting more students involved in the club. In the club, members shoot clay pigeons once a week for each hunting season. Outside of school, Dominic is involved in 4-H, showing up early to his meetings and asks how he can help. Among his many projects in 4-H, he is adding market lamb for his senior year. Dominic loves to run 4-H meetings, he is briefed by the leaders and tries to help out wherever possible.

“Dominic works hard inside and outside of school with 4-H and raises really cute goats,” Teacher Michelle Parsons said.

In his free time, Dominic loves riding horses, roping, hunting (especially during duck season), and working odd jobs such as at the langaire. After high school Dominic plans to pursue his career as a large animal/livestock vet and own a ranch.
