A person was left with a broken jaw after being punched in the face at a south-west London train station.

Police on Thursday issued a CCTV image of a man they want to trace following the serious assault, which happened on July 10.

The victim was at Earlsfield railway station around 10.30pm when they were approached by a man who punched them in the face.

“The victim was left with a broken jaw that required surgery,” said a British Transport Police (BTP) spokesperson.

“Officers believe the man in the CCTV image may have information that could help their investigation.”

Anyone who recognises him, or has any other information, is asked to contact British Transport Police by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 164 of 14/07/24.

Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
