Three men have been jailed for raping a 13-year-old girl after luring her from Hammersmith Tube station to a flat.

Paul Maxwell, 24, of Wood Lane Estates, received 12 and a half years behind bars. Kayon Bhola, 29, of no fixed address, and Jeremiah Jackson, 24, of Longford Court, were both handed 11-year sentences.

The court also imposed 15-year Sexual Harm Prevention Orders on all three men.

The attack took place on September 30 2023 after the victim encountered the men at the tube station and was lured to Maxwell's flat.

Detectives built a strong case using forensic evidence, CCTV footage, and phone analysis. A damning video clip of the attack, found on one of the men's phones, proved crucial in securing convictions.

Detective Constable Will Murphy praised the victim's bravery, saying: "This has been a challenging investigation, however due to the dedicated efforts of my team we were able to secure convictions. I hope the victim feels that justice has been served."

In her impact statement, the victim said: "I have gone over the date a million times thinking of what I could have donedifferently to change the outcome of what happened to me. No matter what I change, it would've ended the same way."

The trio were found guilty on July 22 following a three-week trial at Southwark Crown Court . Maxwell faced an additional rape charge.

DC Murphy added: "The Met is here to support victims of sexual assault, and to provide the best care we can. Please do not hesitate to come to us."
