The winner of last week’s Boys Athlete of the Week poll was Fairhaven’s Kole Pinto. He had more than 4,000 votes (58%) to receive the honor.
Pinto won his first singles matches against Bourne and Diman.
Previous winners were Old Colony’s Brody Darling, Fairhaven’s Kole Pinto, Apponequet’s Jake Cusson and Wareham’s Ty-Rell Pires. The winner of the Preseason Boys Lacrosse Player of the Year poll was Old Colony’s Stu Burnham. The winner of the Preseason Boys Tennis Player of the Year poll was Fairhaven’s Kole Pinto.

Nolan Bushnell, Old Rochester
Bushnell took first in the 800 (2:02.01) at the South Coast Conference Meet of Champions.
Zachary Gates, Old Rochester
Gates won the discus (122-11) at the South Coast Conference Meet of Champions.
Tyler Young, Old Rochester
Young won the mile (4:42.85) and 2-mile (10:16.64) at the South Coast Conference Meet of Champions.

Jack Gwowdz, GNB Voc-Tech
In a pair of games, Gwowdz had a combined 21 kills, 20 assists and five digs.
Colin Stuessi, GNB Voc-Tech
In a win over Quincy, Stuessi had 20 kills and 11 digs.
Carter Barbosa, New Bedford
Barbosa had a combined 84 assists in three games.
Juan Grau Montano, New Bedford
In three games, Montano had a combined 38 kills, including a season-high 16 against Brockton.
Nick Rosa, New Bedford
In a win over Taunton, Rosa recorded his first career triple double with 10 kills, 11 digs and 11 service points.
