Pedestrian sent to hospital following crash in Albemarle
Albemarle Police were dispatched at 6:18 a.m. Wednesday to a crash involving a pickup truck and a pedestrian. The crash happened at U.S. Highway 52 and Second Street, a city spokesperson said. The pedestrian was transported to the hospital. Southbound U.S. Highway 52 reopened around 9 a.m. The crash remains under investigation.
