Week 4 of the Section 4 high school football season will feature a Chemung County rivalry, a meeting of New York state football royalty, and the renewal of a semi-regular matchup between top programs from neighboring Central New York sections.

A look at those matchups and the rest of this week's schedule.

Chenango Forks (4-0) at Maine-Endwell (4-0), 7 p.m. Friday : Both programs have won seven New York state championships. Only Rochester Aquinas with eight has more.

This is the second serious test in a row for Maine-Endwell, which last week beat defending Class C state champion Waverly , 42-41, in overtime in a meeting of teams ranked first in their respective classes by the New York State Sports Writer Association.
