MUNCIE, Ind. — Buyer's Market , which opened an off-price retail store in Muncie Mall in June 2021, has leased the former Pepsi facility on North Walnut Street "to provide more opportunities to expand."

A news release recently issued by Mayor Dan Ridenour's administration said the Pepsi building "will serve as a sorting and storage facility, allowing for bulk deliveries from retailers to be priced and distributed efficiently."

The new facility will "create up to 60 jobs," the release said.

Buyer's Market has expanded to eight stores in Indiana.

"Muncie is my home," said Moghees Sheikh, formerly of Canada and founder of the company. "I uprooted my life to move to this community, and I'm not going anywhere."

I've heard horrible stories about this store, I've never even attempted to walk in just from the looks of it when I walk by tells me I don't want to shop in there
