A Palmetto Cash 5 player hit the jackpot on a South Carolina ticket, officials say.

Someone in Lake City won $281,000 after matching all five numbers in the drawing Thursday, Aug. 15, marking the state’s 11th rolling jackpot win, according to the South Carolina Education Lottery.

The lucky ticket was sold at the Murphy Express on West Loop Road, officials said.

The winning numbers Thursday were 11-13-22-25-31.

The lucky player beat odds of 1 in 850,668 to win the game’s grand prize, lottery officials said.

Winners have 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prize money.

Lake City is about a 90-mile drive east from Columbia.
