A prime 2025 target for South Carolina has been speedy in-state wide receiver Jackson Repp of Christ Church .

Repp (5-8, 160) earned an offer from Shane Beamer and receivers coach Mike Furrey after turning in some blazing times in camp this summer. He and his parents will visit for the LSU game Saturday with the Gamecocks hoping to take that big step toward recruiting closure.

“I talk with Coach Furrey and Coach Beamer a lot,” Repp said. “I feel like I have a really good relationship with both of them. That’s just an incredible place. It’s going to be an incredible atmosphere. It will be a lot of fun. I love every single one of my conversations with Coach Furrey and Coach Beamer. They are great people.”

Repp said a key part of this visit to USC will be to give his mother a chance to see what he has seen during his visits.

“I think the most important part for me with this visit is just going to be, my mom hasn’t really been on campus, hasn’t met the coaches,” Repp said. “I want to make sure that when they meet them and the way they interact that they are treating them right as well. I assume they will. They are all great people, I just want to make sure everything’s right and see how it feels to be in that environment, see if that’s a place I can call home.”

USC and Boston College are the only Power Four offers for Repp at this point. The Eagles have moved on with other receivers, but the Gamecocks do have a spot for Repp. He also has some Group of Five and FCS offers. While it might appear to be a slam dunk for the Gamecocks in this case, Repp isn’t tipping his hand about his plans.

“I haven’t publicly said where I’m at, leaning or anything,” Repp said. “I think I am looking at making a decision sometime soon, wherever that will be. Will see, sometime soon probably. I don’t think I have a definitive list. There’s a lot of schools that I have that are great opportunities. I’m looking at every single one of them and seeing which one I think I can fit in the best with. In the next couple of weeks I’ll know.”

Clemson continues to have contact with Repp as well. He was planning to go to Death Valley last Saturday, but he injured his knee early in the second half of last Friday’s game with Riveside and he wasn’t able to move around well the next day. Repp is not sure about the severity of his injury at this point. His team is off this Friday night.
