There’s a new restaurant planned in one of Columbia’s key retail areas.

Yummy Bowl, a restaurant that offers a host of Asian delicacies and has locations in numerous states, will open a new location in the Columbiana Station shopping center on Bower Parkway, not far from busy Harbison Boulevard, per a Wednesday Facebook post from commercial real estate firm Trinity Partners. The Yummy Bowl will be going into the Bower Parkway space that formerly was occupied by a Miyo’s restaurant, according to Trinity Partners’ post.

An opening date has not been announced for the new Yummy Bowl, but the company lists it as “coming soon” on its website.

There are a number of businesses at Columbiana Station near where Yummy Bowl will set up shop including the British Bulldog Pub, a D & Tea bubble tea spot , and the Regal Columbiana Grande movie theater, among others.

There are Yummy Bowl locations across the South and Midwest, including spots in Alabama, Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky and elsewhere

The menu at Yummy Bowl includes customized Mongolian stir fry bowls, sushi, sashimi, ramen noodle dishes, chicken wings and strips, miso soup, spring rolls, gyoza and more.

The general Harbison area northwest of downtown Columbia continues to be a busy retail district, with a host of restaurants, big box stores, theaters, clothiers, bars and more.

About 31,000 cars per day travel down Harbison Boulevard, per state Department of Transportation data, while about 11,000 cars per day traverse down nearby Bower Parkway.
