Why are you running for the Legislature?

I am running because I think I can help in the fight to make our state as great as it can be. I believe South Carolina’s best days are still ahead of us. I grew up here and learned in the U.S. Marine Corps that nothing worth having comes easy. I’ve brought that work ethic to the S.C. House every day since I was first elected. I’ve spent time to learn the issues facing our state. I’ve studied the procedural rules. I’ve built relationships with other leaders. And all of that enables me to help fight for our community. I believe public service matters and I am asking my friends and neighbors for the opportunity to continue in this role.

If elected, what would your two or three priorities be during the next Legislative session?

    1. Improving our roads and infrastructure

    2. Fighting to improve our economy

    3. Supporting law enforcement

Why should voters in District 89 vote for you? What makes you different?

I was born and raised here, so I understand South Carolina’s values. I think common sense still matters. The world seems to be constantly outraged because of political activists, but I think this state should be governed with level-headed thoughtfulness. If re-elected, I will continue to bring common sense to the table and do all I can to help South Carolina get even better. I will ensure that my neighbors in West Columbia, Cayce and Springdale have their voices heard inside the State House.

Why are you running for the Legislature?

    We deserve better.

If elected, what would your two or three priorities be during the next Legislative session?

Sponsor a binding ballot referendum to legalize medical marijuana, expand Medicaid and deny further abortion restrictions.

Why should voters in District 89 vote for you? What makes you different?

I’m not interested in pushing anyone’s national agenda. I will serve to move forward issues that benefit constituents and our people first.
