    Here’s how every school in Lexington County ranked in the 2024 SC report cards

    The S.C. Department of Education released its report cards on every South Carolina school this week.

    The report cards, based on the 2023-24 school year, rank every school on a 100-point scale and gives every school a designation based on where they fall.

    In Lexington County, the rankings produced 13 excellent schools, 18 ranked good, 27 average, 11 blow average and two unsatisfactory.

    The schools that earned the top excellent ranking include:

    Lexington 1

    ▪ Lake Murray Elementary

    ▪ Lakeside Middle

    ▪ Lexington High

    ▪ Meadow Glen Elementary

    ▪ Meadow Glen Middle

    ▪ Midway Elementary

    ▪ New Providence Elementary

    ▪ Pleasant Hill Middle

    ▪ River Bluff High

    ▪ Rocky Creek Elementary

    Lexington-Richland 5

    ▪ Chapin High

    ▪ Chapin Intermediate

    ▪ Spring Hill High

    Those schools that achieved a good ranking are:

    Lexington 1

    ▪ Beechwood Middle

    ▪ Deerfield Elementary

    ▪ Gilbert High

    ▪ Pleasant Hill Elementary

    ▪ Red Bank Elementary

    Lexington 2 :

    ▪ R.H. Fulmer Middle

    ▪ Springdale Elementary

    Lexington-Richland 5

    ▪ Balletine Elementary

    ▪ Chapin Elementary

    ▪ Chapin Middle

    ▪ Dutch Fork High

    ▪ Dutch Fork Middle

    Those schools ranked below average are:

    Two schools in Lexington County registered as unsatisfactory

    Statewide, 230 schools (18.3%) were rated as excellent, 316 (25.2%) are good, 477 (38%) are average, 186 (14.9%) are below average and 47 (3.7%) are unsatisfactory.
