College scholarships awarded to 3 deserving Staten Island high school seniors
The Bayway Community Advisory Panel (CAP) Recently awarded $1,000 scholarships to 14 local students in the municipalities of Linden, Rahway, Elizabeth, and Staten Island, including three borough seniors: Erin Harris, a student at St. Joseph Hill Academy High School, Jose Perez IV of Curtis High School, and Sharif Rafa, also of Curtis.
Staten Island man, 31, reported missing, NYPD says
STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — The NYPD is asking for help from the public to locate a 31-year-old man missing from South Beach. Dmytro Sosnin was seen most recently around 1:30 p.m. on Saturday while leaving a home on Elm Street in West Brighton according to NYPD’s Deputy Commissioner of Public Information.
