Getting to know Elijah Tilley

WALNUT COVE — South Stokes’ Elijah Tilley is looking forward to the start of school and what the football season holds. The Walnut Cove community is special to him because of all the memories he has made and will continue to make during his senior year.

One of Tilley’s best qualities is his personality, which helps him enjoy the many different people that he will meet in high school and the relationships that he can build with them.

Tilley’s hobbies include weight lifting, fishing, and hunting and says he will be famous for football.

He plays both football and baseball, but football is his favorite. His motivation comes from the love he has developed over the years and the things he has learned along the way.

One of the hardest lessons Elijah has learned is that there are some things in life that you just can not change.

Elijah is a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and the Future Farmers of America (FFA). He plans to go to trade school to become an electrician and wants to coach football.
