Getting to know Nick Leophard

WALNUT COVE — South Stokes’ Nick Leophard is looking forward to his senior year and doing all the stuff that comes along with being a senior.

Nick’s favorite sport is tennis, but you may find him on several athletic fields throughout the school with his camera. He has been a member of the school’s annual staff for three years and has several photos featured in the keepsake.

Leophard loves growing up in the small town environment because everyone knows everybody. He enjoys going to South Stokes and the freedom that is given to the students.

He is a member of the school’s band program, National Honor Society, High School Scholars, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and was Northwest 1A Honorable Mention All-Conference in tennis.

Leophard wants to go on a mission trip and then come back and go to school to study elementary education.

Favorite Teacher/Coach: Mrs. (Carson) Rogers, she has made such an impact on me and my life. She is always there if I need someone to talk to and is just a great person

Dream Vacation: Hawaii

Dream Job: An elementary school teacher

Favorite Athlete: Haley Tyndall because she is a great player, and I love watching
