    Chicago the band will stop in Macon as part of its 58th consecutive year touring

    Whether you’re “25 or 6 to 4,” it’s “Hard to Say I’m Sorry” for wanting tickets when Chicago the band is coming to Macon.

    The jazz-rock legends will perform during their 58th consecutive year on tour at 7 p.m. on April 9 at Macon City Auditorium.

    Tickets to see the band, known for its signature Chicago horns and vocals, go on sale to the general public Friday at 10 a.m. Limited early bird tickets release Tuesday. Seats start at $69.75.

    Fans can sign up for emails about ticket updates via Ticketmaster and Stubhub .

    The multi-Grammy Award-winning band and Rock ‘n Roll Hall of Fame inductee was the first American rock band to chart Top 40 albums for six consecutive decades.

    Four of Chicago’s founding members from 1967 still perform with the band, including vocalist, guitarist and keyboardist Robert Lamm, and horn players Lee Loughnane, James Pankow and Walter Parazaider.
